Javascript Developer & React Developer

Matthew pracuje jako vývojář FE již dva roky. Byl zodpovědný za modernizaci webového portálu pro klienty, který byl napsán ve starém JS frameworku. Musel přestavět a optimalizovat komponenty a vnést do tohoto portálu moderní JS. Pracoval výhradně na Reactu, také již 2 roky. Pracoval také v agilním prostředí se Scrumem. Během bakalářského studia byl vedoucím týmu, který doučoval studenty nižších ročníků středních škol. Mezi jeho povinnosti patřila organizace materiálů, doučování a týdenní rozvrh. Jeho angličtina je na komunikativní úrovni a nizozemština na velmi základní úrovni.

Front-End Developer (Part Time) - 11/2019 to 04/2020 Responsible for redesigning a client-facing web portal using modern JavaScript practices and the React framework. Built a React-based pipeline and coding standard for the front-end team. Rewrote components of the web portal in React, improving performance and visual appeal. Improved development, version control, and testing practices.

Software Engineering Intern - 6/2019 to 8/2019 (J.P. Morgan) Focused on front-end development for an internal application at J.P. Morgan. Code used in production to improve workflow.

Software Development Intern - 5/2017 to 8/2017 (Chauffeur One) Developed a booking application for a chauffeuring company. Made improvements to the company's web services.

Multimedia Search and Recommendation (CS4065) - Developed a Python application using the Spotify API to recommend music to users based on their preferences. (University of Glasgow)

Modelling and Data Analysis (CS4195) - Helped develop a Python application modeling a complex network using a graph library. (University of Glasgow)

Deep Learning (CS4240) - Reproduced the U-Net architecture in PyTorch and tested, trained, and benchmarked it. (University of Glasgow)
