Architect

Kandidát je architekt s téměř šestiletou praxí. V současné době pracuje na projektu, kde se přechází ze starší platformy na cloud. Je zodpovědný za to, jak přizpůsobit architekturu a jak by měla vypadat v Cloudu. Kromě toho pracoval také na projektu aplikace pro online mobilní a tarri prodej. Vedl tým a spolupracoval s dalšími architekty a týmy. Podílel se na velké části životního cyklu od vzniku nápadu až po spuštění. Na tomto projektu byla platforma postavena na mikroslužbách s distribuovanými systémy. V minulosti začínal jako vývojář v jazycích JS, PHP a C#. Komunikace v angličtině mu nedělá problém, v práci ji běžně používá.

Tech Lead (March 2018 - March 2019) at a large UK retailer

• Built a new search engine to achieve cost savings and revenue growth.
• Bootstrapped a new team and ensured the project was delivered according to today's standards (automated CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud - AWS).

Application Architect (December 2015 - February 2018) at a large UK retailer

• Defined the direction for the development of an E-commerce platform.
• Led Solution Architecture on a project implementing same-day delivery.

Software Development Engineer (January 2014 - November 2015) at a large UK retailer

• Member of a small team responsible for DevOps and SRE work.
• Participated in migration from SVN to GIT, building new CI tooling, and scaling the platform.

• Same Day Delivery with a 3rd party (May 2021 - November 2021): Solution architecture for a project with a 3rd party to extend a service to deliver electronics to customers in 30 minutes.
• Future Mobile Offer with a 3rd party (November 2019 - Present): Leading a group of architects in designing a new proposition for buying mobile phones and tariffs, integrating lenders, networks, and other 3rd parties.
• Contactless Order & Collect (May 2020 - June 2021): Led a small team in implementing contactless collection of orders.
