Internal Auditor

Uchazeč pracuje v oblasti auditu téměř 6 let. Dosud pracoval na systémových a finančních auditech, ale sám je neprovádí. Působí spíše jako podpora před auditem a po něm. Pracuje v oddělení metodiky, kde pracuje s daty. Vyvíjí statistické metody, výpočty vzorků, které se promítají do provádění auditu, a někdy se pasivně účastní auditů. Protože má již mnoho zkušeností s přípravou podkladů pro audit, rád by přešel k přímému provádění auditu. V současné době pracuje na Ministerstvu financí, kde působí šestým rokem, a přestože je zde nadmíru spokojený, rád by přijal nové výzvy. V minulosti pracoval ve vícejazyčném týmu, a přestože nyní angličtinu příliš aktivně nepoužívá, nemá problém se domluvit.

November 2016 - Present: Hlavný štátny radca (Main State Advisor)

• Responsible for creating positional and strategic documents and coordinating activities related to planning and performing government audits and reporting results of audits of financial resources provided by the EU
• Provides methodological guidance in the areas of planning and risk analysis, and coordinates risk management in relation to planning
• Prepares documentation and annual reports in accordance with Slovak legislation, EU regulations, and international agreements
• Collaborates with national and international organizations in matters of audit/control and EU financial interests
• Selects samples for auditors, evaluates audits, calculates errors, and provides auditor training

November 2015 - October 2016: Účtovný analytik (Accounting Analyst)

• Processed and approved invoices/travel documents in the BIS system
• Managed cost and transit accounts
• Maintained master data (accounts, suppliers)

October 2014 - September 2015: Účtovník došlých faktúr (Accounts Payable Accountant)

• Accounted for supplier invoices in the SAP system
• Processed returned invoices, cancelled invoices, and checked open items
• Trained a group of colleagues (3) in SAP, invoice processing, and communication with suppliers
• Recognized by customers for providing quality services

2009 - 2014: Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave (Economic University in Bratislava)

• Studied Financial Management of Enterprises (Inžinierske štúdium) and Economics and Business Management (Bakalárske štúdium)
• Completed a thesis on the use of quality improvement tools in a small business
