Kandidát pracoval na několika pozicích v odvětví IT. Postupoval od vývojáře, IT konzultanta, projektového manažera až po architekta. Má tříletou komerční praxi jako architekt. Na současném projektu je zodpovědný za návrh technických řešení a realizaci projektů v digitálním oddělení, zkoumání a řešení provozních/výkonnostních/bezpečnostních problémů v digitálním bankovnictví, zajištění souladu řešení se standardy RB se zaměřením na bezpečnost a provoz, dohled nad implementací řešení od více dodavatelů a vlastní vývoj. Dříve programoval v Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, UML, Visual Paradigm, OpenShift, Kafka, Elastic, Kibana, certifikát Cisco CCNA, JIRA, Confluence, ale říká, že ho více baví být konzultantem, architektem a podporovat tým vývojářů. Je zvyklý pracovat v agilním prostředí, prošel také liniovým řízením a vedl tým až 15 lidí. Přesto si rád udržuje spíše technickou úroveň práce. Komunikace v angličtině mu nedělá problém a nebrání se ani mezinárodním projektům.
