DevOps Engineer

Zkušený Devops inženýr, který na této pozici působí již více než 10 let v komerční praxi (dříve se tato pozice ještě nejmenovala Devops, ale dělal tam totéž). Je zvyklý dělat na jedné pozici jak vývojové, tak testovací a devops úkoly. Má za sebou vývoj v jazycích Python, C, Ruby, Shell a Go lang. Nejvíce zkušeností má s Kibanou/Influxem/Kafkou na platformě K8S a IIB. Pro tyto platformy také nabízí podporu L2 a L3. Při své práci aktivně využívá aglinické metodiky, zejména Scrum a Kanban. Je zběhlý v komunikaci v anglickém jazyce. Pracoval také jako vedoucí týmu, kde měl na starosti malý tým vývojářů.

• Developed and managed a large-scale data cluster using ELK-stack/docker/ansible and Linux for efficient log search, analytics, and easy deployment of cluster/nodes on demand.
• Conducted testing and debugging for internal applications (37+).

Prague, Czech Republic: SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), October 2018 – Present

• Extensive work with Kibana, Influx, and Kafka on K8S and IIB platform.
• Partial automation and utilization of UCD (UrbanCode Deploy) through UCD's API and Go.
• Automated daily tasks and improved processes effectively.
• From January 2020 to September 2020, collaborated with various teams to migrate all IIB environments to new hardware, including the creation of development, testing, and production environments from scratch.
• Since September 2020, part of the Platform team, focusing on enhancing the CI/CD pipeline and providing L2/L3 support for platforms such as IIB, WSO2, CI/CD pipelines, and K8s.
