DevOps Engineer

Inženýr infrastruktury s více než 15 lety zkušeností v oblasti IT. V současné době pracuje jako senior inženýr infrastruktury v oblasti BI. Zabývá se především ML, AI a Big data. Podporuje infrastrukturu externích klientů v oblasti BI. Ta je většinou v cloudu - Azure a GCP. Má také určité zkušenosti s AWS. Má certifikaci pro Azure a Cloud. Pracuje s infrastrukturou a platformou jako službou. Je také zodpovědný za virtualizaci, bezpečnost, poskytovatele identit, sítě, Linux, nasazení databází. Jako IaC používá Terraform. Dříve pracoval také s Ansible. Má zkušenosti s Tableau Server, Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, DWH, BigQuery, Dataflow, Bash a Python pro skriptování. Na své poslední pozici pracoval jako linuxový inženýr také na podpoře externích klientů. V minulosti nasazoval některé služby v Dockeru. V současné době se učí Kubernetes a za 3-4 měsíce bude mít zkoušku. Hovoří plynně anglicky a jeho mateřským jazykem je ruština. Má také základy němčiny a rád by se v ní zdokonalil a jeho čeština je na úrovni A2/B1.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (BI) July 2021 - Present

• Advanced infrastructure support of Enterprise BI Data Platforms: Hybrid Cloud, Datalakes, Datawarehouses, visualization and BI analytics tools.
• Support, deploy & troubleshooting of analytical and reporting platforms: Alteryx Server, Tableau Server, Databricks, Kafka, SnowFlake, Immuta, Matillion, etc.
• Monitoring of the application infrastructure, preemptive maintenance, performance review, and improvement.
• Analysis and resolution of Prod infrastructure issues, cooperation with the development, testing, and support teams.
• Configuration and administration of new analytical solutions, including installation, upgrades, license and user management, etc.

Linux Engineer February 2021 - July 2021 (6 months)

• Providing expertise & technical support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux High Availability Extension, SUSE Manager, SUSE Enterprise Storage, Container/Docker, and many more other products for customers all over the world.
• Collaborating with the Developers team, collecting kernel & software bugs.

Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer December 2018 - February 2021 (2 years 3 months)

• Full support for all IT infrastructure in 2 Prague offices (more than 250 users) + other EMEA offices remote IT infrastructure support.
