DevOps Engineer

Kandidát je zkušený DevOps Engineer, který má 10 let zkušeností v IT, z toho 5 let s DevOps. Na svém posledním projektu se zaměřil na implementaci řešení AWS na základě osvědčených postupů; dodával infrastrukturu jako kód na základě potřeb zákazníka (většinou v Terraformu). Pracoval se správou a provisioningem Kubernetes ve spojení s prod - osvědčenými infrastrukturami provisionovanými pomocí Helm Charts, Kustomize nebo Terraform. Jedním z jeho úkolů bylo najít řešení pro "DRY (don't repeat yourself)" env proměnné na základě implementace ArgoCD. Společně s jeho týmem jsme našli zajímavé řešení založené na implementaci ApplicationSet. Podílel se také na řešeních týkajících se bezpečnosti a dat v AWS. Pracuje agilně se Scrmum a je zvyklý mít denní standupy. Preferuje pravidelnou komunikaci v rámci týmu i se zákazníkem. Denně používá angličtinu a na předchozím projektu komunikoval v němčině. Má zkušenosti s teamleadingem, nepreferuje ho, ale nebrání se mu.

Junior Django Developer (February 2018 – March 2019)

• Implemented models and views in the Django environment.
• Built Django REST APIs and React components for the frontend.
• Worked on tasks like multi-lingual implementation.

DevOps Engineer (March 2019 – February 2021):

• Acted as an application admin in a Linux environment.
• Wrote CI/CD automation using GitLab and scripts.
• Set up and administered Kubernetes.
• Provisioned AWS services.
• Served as a single point of contact (SPOC) for different teams, including monitoring and operations responsibilities.

DevOps Engineer (February 2021 – May 2021):

• Involved in the migration of a Java Spring microservices banking software from ECS EC2 to ECS Fargate.
• Deployed infrastructure using CloudFormation. Worked with Jenkins and assisted with the migration to GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshot infrastructure in the AWS environment using CloudWatch and Splunk.
• Handled permissions and access tasks with AWS Cognito, IAM, Guardrails, and Secrets.

DevOps Engineer (May 2022 – Present):

• Implemented AWS solutions based on best practices.
• Provisioned infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (mostly Terraform).
• Worked with Kubernetes administration and provisioning.
• Developed a solution for managing environment variables using ArgoCD and ApplicationSet.
• Participated in AWS-related security and data-related solutions.
