• The app is essentially complete; launch is gated on the business and regulatory side of charter operations.

Contract Software Engineer (2024 - present)

• The candidate architects the platform behind the national e-government platform and the state's citizen app on Android and iOS.
• Built a cloud-native foundation with multi-cluster OpenShift provisioned as code across Oracle Private Cloud Appliances and bare-metal.
• Implemented GitOps-driven delivery via self-managing ArgoCD, with end-to-end observability, secrets, identity and policy on sovereign infrastructure.
• Worked with Python and Java services, REST API design, PostgreSQL and Oracle data layers, and Kafka messaging for real-time event flows.
• Owns OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect through Keycloak, secrets in Vault, and CI/CD pipelines including GitLab CI, Argo CD, container builds and automated testing and scanning.

Contract Software Engineer (2017 - 2023)

• The candidate helped lead development of a help-desk SaaS used by tens of thousands of companies.
• Contributed across feature work, architecture and the DevOps underneath it.
• Built the Android app in Kotlin, including feature work through to signed release builds on the Play Store.
• Worked on the PHP, Java and Python backend and the JavaScript frontend, including REST APIs between the backend and mobile and web clients.
• Ran the AWS infrastructure with Terraform, including Kubernetes on EKS under Argo CD.

• A spatial Formula 1 companion app, native in Swift for visionOS.
• The candidate owned all real-time telemetry — loading, handling and playback driving the spatial visualisation.
