Android Developer & Kotlin Developer

The candidate is an Android developer who has been programming in Android for over 3 years in commercial practice. Currently working mainly with Kotlin, but they also have a project where they are using Java. He is working on android payment apps, it's a modified android as these apps need to be more secure. On the first project he worked with REST API, the whole application was based on responses from the server and storing data on the server. It was code that existed for 5 years so he also has experience in modifying and refactoring existing code and writing code with reusability in mind. He also worked with REST API, also stored data locally in the database using Room library so that the user can view the data offline. He has been using Git on a daily basis for over 3 years now, he always worked by creating a branch for each feature and when finished he made a merge request and the lead had to approve that merge request. On the last project they were working as a start-up when a client request came in and needed to be analyzed and implemented he was in charge of it for Android. He actively uses agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum and Kanban. He can communicate in English without any problems and uses it on a daily basis. He enjoys working in a team as he is used to daily meetings and regular brainstorming sessions. He would like to work on a project where more modern technologies are used and they would be interesting apps, and especially that the processes are well set up.
