Java Developer

The candidate is a young java developer who has been developing in this programming language for almost a year in commercial practice - prior experience from school and school projects for about 3 years. On his last project he worked on the development of a complex enterprise application that managed accounts, credit cards and transactions of bank users. To do this he programmed a web application which had both a backend and frontend built on Java - specifically Spring. Many times they integrated something that had been previously programmed by external development teams from America or Munich. He actively used agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum and Kanban. He handles communication in English without any problems and used it on a daily basis.

Software Engineer | Oct 2019 - Present
As a full-time Java software engineer, I work in a Scrum team of 15 young professionals. I am responsible for implementing various features in complex financial enterprise web applications based on business analysts' requirements. This includes developing frontend UI and business logic using Java, SmartGWT, and the Spring framework. I also create services and integrate external REST/SOAP servers for data retrieval and execution of operations.

Master's Degree in Informatics | 2017-2019
I obtained my master's degree from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, specializing in informatics. My state final examination focused on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including machine learning and neural networks. My diploma thesis involved coordinated data acquisition and extraction from web portals using collaborative web browsers' add-ons.

Bachelor's Degree in Informatics | 2013-2017
I completed my bachelor's degree in informatics at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. During this time, I worked on various projects, including my bachelor's thesis on a temperature component for Silverspoon.io.

Projects

• Issuing modules - WEP (Wirecard Enterprise Portal) & Call Center Application: Since October 2019, I have been involved in this project as a software engineer.
• Coordinated data acquisition and extraction from web portals via collaborative web browsers' add-ons: This was the topic of my diploma thesis, which I worked on from September 2017 to June 2019. It was also the winner of the Student Scientific Conference in 2019.
• Information Screens (HT TV): This was a college project I worked on from September 2017 to February 2018.
• Lumeer: Modern data definition and processing platform: I contributed to this open-source project from September 2016 to May 2017.
• Starweey: I worked as a freelance developer on this Android application from July 2016 to August 2016.
• Temperature Component for Silverspoon.io: This was my bachelor's thesis project, which I worked on from April 2015 to April 2017.

Volunteer Experience
At the Library in Vranov nad Topľou, I assisted in computer training workshops for seniors from 2011 to 2012.
