Java Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer, with over 10 years of commercial experience. He prefers to work with Spring, Spring Boot and Java 8 and 11, as he likes modern technologies. But besides that he also has a lot of experience with Hibernate, Maven, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat and others. He works in an agile way in the form of Scrum. In the past he has also worked as a team leader, where he was in charge of 3 other developers. His primary responsibilities back then included task delegation, scheduling, and he had the responsibility of completing the scheduled Sprint. He is used to working in Czech speaking teams, but he speaks English at B1 level.

11.2019 - present: Contract Java Developer - Currently developing a bank system using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Quarkus, Hibernate, and REST API design. Familiar with tools such as JUnit 5, EasyMock, Maven, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Jenkins.

5 years, 2 months: Software Developer - Worked on the development of CCM software. Responsible for creating and maintaining software workflows for customer experience needs. Proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST API design, web services, and JavaScript. Familiar with tools such as JUnit 5, Mockito, Maven, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins.

4 years: Senior Application Developer & Team Leader - Developed new functionality for a company's software using service-oriented architecture. Worked in an agile environment using Scrum. Experienced in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Data, RabbitMQ, web services, JSP, Vaadin, and Elastic Search. Proficient in tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat, and PostgreSQL.

9 months: Programmer - Analyst - Cooperated on two web application projects in the banking segment for Russian and Belorussian countries. Proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate, iBatis, Maven, Spring Web Services, and Wicket. Familiar with tools such as Maven and Oracle.

2 years: Software Developer - Developed and maintained a web-based application for a Swedish energy company. Proficient in JDBC, EJB 2.0, Struts, JSP, and Ant. Experienced in Oracle.

Education and Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Completed a bachelor's thesis on tools for object-relation mapping in Java.
