Android Developer

The candidate is an experienced Android developer who has been coding Android apps for more than 3 years in commercial practice. He worked for a large automotive company where he gained experience programming mainly in Java, Android, Kotiln, TDD. His daily workload included 70% programming and 30% code-review, preparing tasks, workshops, designing implementations, completing documentation, etc. He actively uses agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban in his work, but has also come across Waterfall from the 90s. He can communicate in English without any problems. He would be interested in projects for at least half a year. Outside of work, he is mainly into Kotlin based programming.

Android Developer (January 2020 - present): Skilled in Java, Kotlin, and Dart, with experience in modern Android development technologies. Proficient in using tools such as Room, SQLite, Retrofit, and Kotlin Coroutines. Also passionate about Android security and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).

Android Developer (May 2017 - present): Working for a famous automotive company, Skoda Auto, developing solutions for app-car communication. Responsible for implementing manuals and vehicle report history. Also involved in training and supporting younger developers, as well as communicating between business and development for planning new features.

Android Developer (June 2018 - August 2018): Worked as an external worker for Skoda, contributing directly to the Skoda mobile platform. Developed new features for the Android version of the application and provided continuous support and consultation. Utilized technologies such as Kotlin, MVVM, ViewModel-LiveData, RxJava, and REST API.

UAT Tester: Conducted UAT testing for new services before production.
