Scrum Master

The candidate is an experienced Scrum Master who has been working in this position for more than 3 years in commercial practice. Previously he held the role of project manager and all kinds of project leads (project lead, release lead, deployment lead). As Scrum Master, he had responsibility for 2 Scrum teams with whom he managed internal applications/projects. They functioned in Jira and worked based on Scrum principles, during 2 week sprints during which they implemented changes from the product backlog, based on planning with clients. When the sprint scope needed to be adapted as agreed with the product owner/client. They also adapted the actual working style and principles flexibly based on mutual feedbacks and agreements with clients and the whole team. He also used other agile methodologies like Kanban, Kanban Board, XP in his work. He can communicate in English without any problems and uses it on a daily basis. He has also worked as a team leader in a large foreign company.

March 2019 - present: Release Manager As a Release Manager, I am responsible for overseeing all releases, including small weekly deployments, sub-releases, and compliance releases. My role involves scoping and freezing the release, preparing release-test environments, ensuring proper and timely testing, and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful deployment. I communicate all milestones and achievements to the company's management, including the CEO.

June 2017 - May 2018: IT Application Manager Bratislava Tribe Lead As the IT Application Manager Bratislava Tribe Lead, my responsibility was to ensure the smooth operation and performance of the team and each team member. I provided coaching and feedback, managed client escalations, and planned for team coverage. I also built a strong team with satisfied employees and created personal learning plans for career growth.

August 2016 - February 2019: IT Application Manager As an IT Application Manager, I led global teams and took ownership of internally used applications. My responsibilities included end-to-end application lifecycle management, such as change management, incident and problem management, release management, and vendor and stakeholder management. I also acted as a Scrum Master for two teams, participated in agile meetings, and coordinated application development.

October 2015 - August 2016: Deployment Lead/Project Manager As a Deployment Lead/Project Manager, my role involved overseeing the deployment of projects. I ensured smooth and high-quality delivery of business requirements, supported the testing team, and managed project/application financials.
