DevOps Engineer & Javascript Developer & Node.js Developer

The candidate has been working for more than 4 years on developing various web applications in Node.js at BE. Gradually he worked his way up to DevOps engineering where he and a team of staff he also led and founded worked on microservices development using Kubernetes. However, he is currently now back on a project that is explicitly grounded in DevOps. The candidate would like to avoid a project where legacy code would be used and where full remote allocation would be required. From his previous jobs he has experience with large corporates as well as medium sized enterprises and startups. He does not have a dedicated sector in which the project should be located, rather it depends on the attractiveness of the project. My English language is at an excellent level, both written and verbal.

10.2018-now DevOps Engineer: Responsible for test-driven development and maintaining a microservices-based web portal, deploying microservices using Kubernetes, and being the DevOps engineer for an internal service mesh. 01.2018-09.2018 Web Application Developer: Developed, maintained, and refactored a complex enterprise web application. Technologies used include Node.js, IBM Cloudant, IBM Cloud, Angular.js, React, Git, and Scrum.

01.2016-12.2017 Web Application Developer: Prototyped and built MVPs of three different medical web platforms. Technologies used include Angular.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Ubuntu Linux, Microsoft Azure, Git, GitLab, Jira, Docker, Python, and Machine Learning.

07.2016-03.2017 Web Application Developer: Developed an application for learning the Polish sign language. Technologies used include Angular.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Ubuntu Linux.

11.2014-03.2016 Machine Learning Research Assistant: Developed machine learning models of sign language in MATLAB with HTK toolkit and neural networks. Technologies used include MATLAB, HTK toolkit, and Linux.
