Linux Administrator
Overview
Short Summary
Mr. The candidate has many years of experience as an IT administrator of mostly Linux/Unix servers, in his current job most of them run on Ubuntu. He works in teams of 4 administrators who take care of the internal infrastructure (2 datacenters with about 200 virtual machines, 20 running on Windows). Occasionally they are also involved in supporting applications developed by their company. He is used to working on on-call. They are also involved in managing and building IT infrastructure at clients (from HW installation to actual datacenter management). He also tried working as a software developer (C ) where he was introduced to the agile SCRUM methodology, but that was a long time ago. He also used to manage a team, but found that he didn't have the right soft skills for that and was more suited to the position of a regular team member.
