Windows Administrator

Mr. The candidate is a senior Windows administrator who has already gone through both 2nd and 3rd level support (resolving tickets, etc.). A year ago he became part of a project team in charge of onboarding new customers in the transition and transportation area. It is mainly about migrating servers from the customer to their data centers, virtualization (VMware). He is also in charge of AD (updates, etc.). He uses English on a daily basis, most of the managers are foreigners. In the future, he would like to either self-actualize as a 3rd level admin or start working more with virtualization and VMware, which he currently only encounters as an admin. At the same time he is currently doing another level of Microsoft Azure certification as part of his self-study, he already got his Fundamentals at the beginning of the year.

Warehouse Keeper (2010 - 2014): Managed a small warehouse of electronic components, handling the ordering, receiving, and issuing of components.

Comi Chef (2014 - 2015): Worked in various kitchen areas, including a la carte and cold kitchen, responsible for preparing food, ordering supplies, stocking, and ensuring food quality control.

Windows Server Administrator (3/2016 - 5/2018): Provided 2nd tier support for approximately 80 global customers, managing around 10,000 physical and virtual servers. Handled remote management, monitoring, and active directory tasks, as well as resolving OS-related incidents.

Senior Windows Server Administrator (6/2018 - Present): Specialized in 3rd level support for five international customers, overseeing approximately 350 servers across multiple sites worldwide. Responsible for planning OS security patches, hardware upgrades, and managing technologies like DHCP, DNS, and Windows Failover Cluster. Additionally, handled server virtualization platforms and administration of HP hardware servers.

Technical Specialist in Project Team (since 10/2019): Part of a team dedicated to onboarding new customers into Tieto infra services. Involved in the transition and transformation of servers and systems to a new hosting platform using Double-Take software. Collaborated with customers and third-party vendors to implement systems on the new platform and ensure continuous service operations.
