Java Developer & Kotlin Developer & React Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer with more than 5 years of commercial experience. Currently focusing on fullstack, he would like to work in Java with React or Kotlin. He would not like to work in pure Angular. He is currently working on two projects at the same time- one full-time and the other just fine-tuning the edits. His most used technologies/frameworks are Java, React, Spring, Hibernate, Angular. He actively uses Scrum while working, but personally prefers Kanban. He is not actively looking for a job, but likes to look at trends in the market as he is curious about what's going on. He has been working in a foreign team for the last 3 years, so communication is not a problem for him. He prefers projects with a maximum length of 2 years. On the current project he is leading a small team of 3 developers. He doesn't have a preferred sector he would like to work in, he has also worked in banking and telecommunications in the past.

2018–now Freelance

• Full-stack web developer working for an Austrian telecommunication company as part of a Scrum team. Developed a device enrollment application for Samsung and Apple devices based on orders in ERP or CRM systems. Application is currently running in production.
• Worked on an integration platform that enables selling and provisioning digital products from third-party systems. Continuously implementing new features and adding new products to the platform.
• Developed a security forces application that manages hierarchical structure of organization and collects localization data. Some parts of the application are designed for field usage.

2018 Oracle - Netsuite

• Java/Javascript developer in an international team. Developed integration between Netsuite ERP and Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud using Javascript-based API.

2016–2018 URC Systems s.r.o.

• Full-stack Java developer working on a network layer of a distributed warfare application. Implemented a data distribution service (DDS) for communication in the network. Also developed small applications providing real-time data from sensors and devices.

2014–2016 Brno University of Technology (Cooperation with Honeywell s.r.o.)

• C++ backend developer responsible for designing and implementing a C++ back-end application and optimizing the database (PostgreSQL) in the open-source/open-hardware home automation project Beeeon.

Education

• Master's degree in Computer and Embedded Systems from Brno University of Technology (2013-2015). Master's thesis focused on a database for intelligent home using C++ and PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology (2010-2013). Bachelor's thesis involved developing a Picoblaze simulator and debugger using C++, Qt, and VHDL.
