Architect & IT Security Consultant
Overview
Short Summary
The candidate is a Security Architect and Analyst who has been in this position for over 2 years in a commercial practice. His main work included designing security solutions and their entire architecture, implementation and subsequent analysis. He also has programming experience - examples of larger projects he has written include; Python - NodeSkipper decentralized agent-based communication protocol with consensus capability, Java - Minesweeper solver and playfield generator (NP-complete problem), C# - bot for playing Travian. In his current position, he uses Python the most, occasionally in combination with R, primarily for statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and automation. He also has experience in plain C, CPP, JS, PS, Lisp, but does not actively use them. He has also been involved in ACM competitions for several years. He is able to do formal validation over these languages for critical functions with pre- and post-condition counting. He actively uses agile Scrum methodologies in his work. His communication skills in English are at C1 level. He is most interested in cybersecurity architect, threat intelligence and more advanced incident response positions. He is not too comfortable with positions with a monotonous workload, on the contrary, I really like positions where he has to deal with many different complex problems and challenges that he has to decipher, understand and solve step-by-step. If organizational or managerial duties are part of the job description, that's a bonus, not a necessity.
