PHP Developer

The candidate is an experienced PHP developer with 4 years of experience. PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Javascript, React are among his most used technologies/frameworks. He mostly works with PHP without frameworks, but has beginner experience with Laravel. However, he most often uses it for his own projects. Speaking in English is a problem for him, but written communication is fine for him. He hasn't worked with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban yet. Paul hasn't had the opportunity to lead a team of people as a developer, but in the past, he has led a team of about 30 people while working in the wine industry. He doesn't have a preferred area he would like to work in, the main thing for him is to have a good team and to define the processes to work with at the beginning.

• Material-Technological Faculty at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Applied Informatics and Automation in Industry, 2007-2012.
• Viniculture and Fruit Growing School in Modra, Viniculture and Fruit Growing - Entrepreneurship, 2003-2007.

Work Experience:

• Senior PHP Developer, 2017-present: Responsible for projects such as www.waragod.sk, www.medical-uniforms.sk, www.a-zstroj.sk, www.parfumerka.eu, www.aladdin.sk, www.jardin.sk, www.reut.sk. Main tasks include automatic imports of products from external suppliers, API connections with accounting and information systems, integration with price comparison portals such as Heureka and Glami, and automatic connections with carriers.
• Owner/Executive Manager, 2013-2017: Managed the business operations of a winery.
• Comprehensive work in viticulture, 2012-2017 and 2003-2008.
• Website creation on CMS Joomla, 2011-2012.
• Development and testing of database applications, technical documentation creation, 2008-2009.

Skills: Advanced knowledge in MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, jQuery. Basic knowledge in React, Laravel, and CMS Joomla.

Language Skills: Moderate proficiency in English (B1), beginner proficiency in German (A1).
