PHP Developer

The candidate is an aspiring PHP developer with 2 years of experience during school. Even though he is still a student, he is working full-time. He is currently working on a project in an international team. His most used technologies/frameworks are PHP, MySQL, Sentry, Symfony. He hasn't had the opportunity to work with Laravel yet. Communication in English is not a problem for him. He also uses agile methodologies, especially Scrum, on his current project.

Technologies.

PHP Backend Developer (06/2021 - present): Responsible for implementing tasks in PHP 7.2 in Cake 2/3, MySQL, and Sentry. Administering support for various projects and working in a Docker, Git, and Agile environment.

Junior Software Developer (04/2021 - 05/2021): Implemented small support tasks in Vanilla PHP/Opencart. Conducted error searching in MySQL/MSSQL data and frontend. Devised solutions for Google Data Studio.

Junior Software Developer (09/2020 - 10/2020): Updated PHP and Symfony to newer standards on an older project.

Junior Software Developer / 1st Line Support (01/2018 - 06/2020): Managed user support for company projects via email. Implemented backend features in Symfony framework. Played a role in developing the learning portal webakademia.sk using Symfony 4.3 + APIPlatform. Created PHP webpages in Zend Framework and supported older Zend projects.

Education: Completed a specialization in Applied Informatics at Pan-European University (09/2019 - 08/2022), and studied Applied Informatics at Slovak Technical University (09/2014 - 08/2018) and Computer Networks at Slovak Technical University (09/2011 - 02/2014). Graduated from Ján Papánek Highschool with a specialization in languages (2007 - 2011).

Skills: Advanced in English (B2) and native in Slovak. Proficient in JavaScript/jQuery, PHP (5.6/7.1/7.4), MS Excel, MS Word, and MySQL.
