Cloud Engineer & DevOps Engineer

Experienced devops/cloud engineer who has been in this position for over 3 years in commercial practice. On the last project he did consulting and implementation of the entire infrastructure solution - on premise. He has used AWS, Azure, GCP as well as some smaller Chinese clouds. He was building solutions on openstack and terraform so that all solutions were properly managed using Kubernetes, Kubernetes Engine and Ansible. He also worked in a non-profit organization where he helped clients migrate application data to cloud environment using Kubernetes private, CI/CD and also did integration testing. He performed monitoring in Grafana and Prometheus, log monitoring in Elastick stack and Grafana's tool. He actively used agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum and Kanban. He can communicate in English without any problems and is certified to C1 level.

Technologies.

September 2020 - October 2021: Freelance software engineer and devops consultant, helping companies build and expand their software and introducing devops practices. Also providing training on these topics. (Currently)

July 2019 - August 2020: Software engineer, developing a fitness and tracking application for professionals in the field of nutrition, movement, and health. Worked on both frontend and backend using PHP and Vue.js.

October 2016 - June 2017: Teacher, teaching computer hardware, programming of Lego Mindstorms EV3, and computer programming to children between 11-16 years old.

December 2013 - November 2014: VPS and game support, managing customer's servers and handling support tickets.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Application of Software Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague (2018 - August 2020), Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Charles University in Prague (2017 - 2018), and attended Střední průmyslová škola sdělovací techniky panská (2013 - 2017). Also studied at Milner School of English, Wimbledon in 2016.
