Data Engineer

The candidate is an experienced developer with 8 years of experience. In his working beginnings he started with C++, later he started using python. He worked in computer vision in a manufacturing company, also created demo applications for them. Later he was involved in the development of a localization system in the automotive industry. He has experience in biometrics and image data. He was in charge of the whole process of data processing and preparation, through prototyping, training and testing its accuracy. From agile methodologies he currently uses kanban but in the past he has also encountered scrum. In his current job, he has nowhere to move on and nothing new to learn. He is interested in statistics, graphs and images. He wants to work in computer vision, machine learning or data science ideally in a technology oriented company, he also finds healthcare interesting. He does not prefer marketing, banking and telco sector. His English is at a communicative level and he would prefer to work in a foreign team in order to move forward linguistically. He has no direct experience in teamleading, but has had the opportunity to coach younger colleagues.

Senior Image Processing Engineer (2017 - present)

As a senior image processing engineer, I am responsible for data preparation and processing, algorithm prototyping, machine learning, accuracy evaluation, face, iris and pedestrian detection and recognition, object tracking, analysis of verification and identification algorithms, and integration of model to library.

Computer Vision Developer (2014 - 2017)

As a computer vision developer, I was responsible for the development and maintenance of real-time computer vision engines, video processing, video streams processing, and external partners support. I also provided developer partners support.

Software Developer (2012 - 2014)

As a software developer, I developed computer vision for robotic arm, using camera image and 3D point cloud from laser scanner, and indoor navigation system for industrial use.

I also have experience in reading research papers on computer vision, machine learning, image processing, and video processing algorithms. I am also an AI challenge enthusiast and have participated in various challenges like Google AI Challenge, Planet Wars, Ants, halite.io, and NIPS2020 Black Box optimization challenge, Codingame spring 2020 challenge.

I have a master's degree in Computer Graphics and Multimedia from Brno University of Technology - Faculty of Information Technology. I also have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same university. I completed a series of courses on deep learning specialization from Andrew Ng on coursera.org. I also have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same university.
