Android Developer

The candidate is an Android developer with 3 years of experience. He already had a full-time job during school. He is currently working on developing an Android app for TV. In the future he would like to try a different field of work than the TV segment. He works full-time, but in addition to that he also works about 60 hours a month on external projects. On one of them he worked on the development of the app Animal+, where he developed the first phase, which is on the store. The app has about 10 000 downloads. In December they will start working on the second phase, the main goal of which will be to enrich the app. Some of his most used technologies/frameworks are Android, Kotlin, Java. He is working on the main project in Scrum. In his current position, all stand-ups are in English since the boss is from Italy. Thanks to this, communicating in English is no longer a problem for him. The candidate has not had the opportunity to lead his own team yet.

Availability.

Android Developer (Oct 2020 - Present): Currently working on the development of the Sledovanitv app for Android and AndroidTV platforms, continuously improving its functionality.

External Android Development (Jan 2020 - Present): Engaged in freelance Android development projects, such as the creation of the cz.zvireplus.android app.

Android Developer (Feb 2019 - Oct 2020): Contributed to the development of various Android apps, including com.dactylgroup.robe.android, com.dactylgroup.android.yaga, com.gpsfloto.mobile.locator, and com.dactylgroup.android.zfpgroup.

Mobile Developer (Project) (Aug 2018 - Oct 2018): Collaborated on a mobile development project for three months.

Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering and Informatics (2015 - 2020): Obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno. Worked as a member of the Android development team for the My Mendelu app during 2016-2019.

International Busit Week (2018): Developed an Android mobile application for ingredient recognition during the event at UC Leuven-Limburg.
