Product Owner

The candidate has been in the IT field for more than 7 years. For the last 2 years he has been working as a Product owner. When he joined the company, he took over a backlog of more than 600 user stories that no one had taken care of before. Since he worked as a QA analyst for 4 years prior to that, he also has experience in development. During his last position, the company switched to agile development, which caused problems for the sales reps as they had no experience with it. As The candidate had previous experience with agile methodologies and development, he covered all the planning and development that came out of the customer support department. During his work, he worked with more than 10 teams that were spread all over the world. Communication in English is not a problem for him. During his time as a QA analyst, he also attended a Scrum for teams workshop.

August 2019 - July 2021: Tier 3 Support Product Owner - Managed user stories and backlog for support originating development, collaborated with multiple development teams, and established a transparent agile process. February 2014 - November 2017: QA Analyst - Conducted blackbox/manual testing, collaborated with developers, and managed QA for smaller sub-projects. Presented on-site during customer acceptance tests. (Company)

Skills: Jira, Slack, NetSuite, SVN, Git, GIS, DIS/HLA, Linux. Experience in Scrum/Agile, quality assurance, teamwork, communication, customer support, and product management.

Education: Completed workshop on Scrum for Teams in 2016. MA in Electronic Culture and Semiotics from Charles University, Prague (2011-2014, terminated without degree). MA in Cognitive Semiotics from Aarhus Universitet (2012-2013, Erasmus exchange). BA in Philosophy, Theory Art from University J. E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem (2008-2011).
