Project Manager

The candidate has been in the IT field for more than 4 years, but he has been working part-time during school. In his current position he is working on the Skoda Octavia product. He covers product development from an engineering perspective to deliver samples as required during milestones. He communicates with the business department, based on feedbacks from customers regarding what needs to be improved he then applies these requirements. He is responsible for the product that is passed on to the business owner. He also manages meetings within the Skoda and VW group. Prior to that he worked as Error manager. He tracked tickets that reported bugs that occurred within testing. He escalated tickets to the right people, communicated with suppliers, so the whole ticket lifecycle was covered. He also communicated with middle management within the company about where the bugs were and when they would be fixed. Any communication in English was not a problem for him.

2/2020 – present: Project leader for development for new Octavia 2020 – responsible for achieving project milestones and goals in electric/electronics development department for third generation of online services, managing meetings within company and VW Group, dealing with blockers and obstacles, managing operational end-to-end testing of services and products, all in Czech and English language.

1/2019 – 2/2020: Error manager – responsible for ticket management for end-to-end, reporting and analyzing tickets, explaining problems and their customer impact to management, pushing the process of ticket solving in Volkswagen up to supplier level, handling regular company/VW Group ticket meetings, all in Czech and English language.

3/2017 – 1/2019: Error manager/system specialist – responsible for ticket management for end-to-end, reporting and analyzing tickets, explaining problems and their customer impact to management, pushing the process of ticket solving in Volkswagen up to supplier level, handling regular company/VW Group ticket meetings, all in Czech and English language.

7/2014 – 6/2015: Campus ambassador – responsible for extending the business case to the Czech Republic and gaining support for software in CTU, promoting it as the official software for e.g. master thesis.

11/2013 – 2/2014: Technician – responsible for customers' hardware and software maintenance, rack building, hardware and software configuration testing, and issue fixing.

6/2011 – 8/2011: Promotion – responsible for promoting new phones/plans and accessories for current and new customers of Vodafone Czech Republic.
