Short Summary

The candidate has been working in IT since 2003 when he started as an IT Specialist for Level 1 support. He has worked as Architekt for the last 7 years and since 2018 he has been focusing on Cloud where he takes part as end to end Architekt in Azure. On a few complex projects he also gained two years of experience with AWS and has limited experience with Docker and Kubernetes. The candidate is certified as an AWS Solution Architect and AWS Sysops Administrator - Associate. He was a team leader of 15 engineers and architects as well - mainly in the banking sector. Regarding to that position, his main goal was to automate completely and to actually get rid of user intervention as much as possible. He is looking for a new opportunity since his current project will end soon. He has got interested in the role of Cloud Operations Architect although he does not feel like an expert at all the required skills but he is very eager to learn. As a person, The candidate is a pleasant professional with good communication and problem solving skills.

March 2020-Present: IT Architect-Hosting

  • Responsible for governance on multiple architectures.
  • Conducted proof of concepts (POCs) on co-location and composable infrastructures.
  • Provided AWS/Azure support.

March 2020-February 2021: Infrastructure Architect Hybrid Cloud

  • Designed and architected IBM Power Systems/AIX, focusing on virtualization and high-availability.
  • Migrated AIX workloads to public clouds (Azure) using Skytap.
  • Managed Azure Stack Hub.
  • Conducted POCs for customers in hybrid cloud environments.
