Java Developer

The candidate is a bright engineering student who has been working almost full-time while in school since 2018. He started by programming in C# and gradually moved to Java, which he still uses today. He has been programming with Java for about 4 years and has an awareness of cloud technologies as he works closely with DevOps engineers as well. His main tech-stack is Java, Apache Flink, HTML, CSS. On the current project, they are using Native Java where hundreds of teams are working at once. His main job is to check the buildings on the maps in the application. This works based on the submitted building formats, which it is tasked with tracking and correcting to the correct appearance. He works agilely with Scrum on daily standups. His English is at a good communicative level and does not preclude working in an international environment. He has had the opportunity to mentor more junior colleagues.
