DevOps Engineer & Node.js Developer & Python Developer

The candidate has been working as a backend and devops engineer since 2018. On the backend, he has experience with Node.js and TypeScript, which he has been working with for the last 3 years. He also worked for half a year on a DevOps platform where his interest was to do something experimental that could be moved to other projects. They wanted to create some infrastructure that would work independently and be used to deploy applications and fix problems. They were using technologies like Jenkins and Terraform to do that. For the next year and a half he worked on a financial application - a reporting application where it was about optimizing workers based on the business domain. He also has experience with CI/CD pipelines from github to cloud, but only basic experience with AWS. Scrum have on a daily basis - retrospectives, sprints, but would be more interested in Kanban which is less methodological. He has been responsible for guiding and supervising BE developers and training them in TS as well as providing feedback and overseeing code quality. He communicates in English on a daily basis. Preferably in the field of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific research.

Backend & DevOps Engineer (May 2019 - April 2021): Developed a workforce optimization application for IBM, following agile methodology and extreme programming practices. Responsible for devops automation, backend development, architecture, and security mitigation. Emphasized automation and simplification of processes, conducted research for efficient coding patterns.

Backend & DevOps Engineer (May 2018 - April 2019): Worked on a loyalty program application, gaining experience in scrum methodology and modern application development. Focused on backend development and took on additional devops stories. Utilized technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and AWS.

Frontend Engineer & Data Visualization (March 2016 - April 2018): Worked on frontend and data visualization projects using React, D3 library, JavaScript, and Tableau platform. Created customized charts for small data reporting apps.

Data Scientist (September 2015 - February 2016): Utilized machine learning algorithms and Apache Spark to analyze big data and identify patterns affecting customer churn rate. Primarily used decision tree algorithms with Python, R, and Apache Spark.

Education: Master's degree in Pharmacy from Comenius University, Bratislava (2010-2015).
