Architect

Matthew is a proficient solution architect with about 16 years of experience. On his current project he uses .NET, C#, AWS, Azure or databases like SQL. He works in agile environment - scrum and kanban. His English is at a very good level, he also speaks German but would need to be conversational. He has not done formal teamleadership but coaches senior colleagues. He is interested in long term projects. He doesn't have a preferred field of work but definitely wants to avoid gambling, banking or insurance.

Sep 2018 - Dec 2021: .NET Tech Lead/Solution Architect As the backend team lead, I was responsible for delivering products and communicating with client solution architects. I led a team of 7+ developers from different countries. I designed communication flows between solution blocks and coordinated with third-party connections, customer systems, and our infrastructure team. I managed changes and their impact on client applications, constantly improving product behavior based on monitoring and logs. I planned and executed releases, ensuring no downtime and implementing blue-green deployment. Projects included VOD and live channels platforms with thousands of active users, CMS integration, and more. All projects were hosted on AWS and written in C#, Node.js, and used MSSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Oct 2017 - Aug 2018: .NET Developer (Consultant) As a software developer and consultant, I worked on multiple projects, including a document processing platform with machine learning using TensorFlow. I designed a platform for collecting client data and storing it in a graph database. I optimized performance for various projects. Technologies used included Azure platform, C#, .NET Core, Docker, unit tests, VSTS, MSSQL, and more.

Oct 2016 - Sep 2017: .NET Developer I worked as a software developer, focusing on improving the speed of data feed processing and integrating large amounts of data from XML files. The solution helped save money for health insurance companies. Technologies used included .NET, C#, MSSQL, Entity Framework, and more.

Sep 2015 - Oct 2016: .NET Developer I worked on a web-based project for registering and managing mobile devices for the entire corporation. I integrated internal and external services and built REST API services. I refactored code and normalized databases. Technologies used included .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, MSSQL, Entity Framework, and more.

Jan 2015 - Jul 2015: .NET Developer I worked on a web-based project for the registry of buildings, planning, and building proceedings for RWE Czech Republic. Technologies used included .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Oracle Database, Entity Framework, and more.
