Java Developer & Javascript Developer

The candidate is a communicative Java developer whose commercial experience started in April 2021. Before that, he was also working as a Linux system administrator for several years. He lives in Slavonski Brod, but plans to move to Zagreb and he is able to move anywhere in Croatia in case of interesting position. He is comfortable to work with both bigger and smaller teams. His full skillset contains Java, Spring, JavaScript - ES6, NodeJS with ExpressJS, Behavior Driven Development -BDD/TDD - with Mocha, Chai and SinonJS, MongoDB, Pug (Jade) templating engine, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, C, Bash, Git, Google Cloud Platform - Compute Engine (IaaS), App Engine (PaaS), Cloud Storage, Load Balancing and PostgreSQL . Communication in English is not a problem for him. He is able to work on both long-term and short-term projects, but prefers long-term. He has a position right now, but as soon as he would have interesting offer on the table, he is able to switch jobs. He is open for both standard employment and freelancing

1. 04.2021. - current: Software Development - Working remotely as a Java software developer. Utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
2. 10.2020. - 11.2020.: Project for sharing photos/videos. Developed using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB Atlas, and hosted on GCP's App Engine with cloud storage and load balancing capabilities.
3. 09.2020. - 10.2020.: Created a website for a fintech company using a Bootstrap theme with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. However, due to a management change and time constraints, the project was not completed.
4. 06.2020. - Unfinished: Project for creating Linux scripts. Developed using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. Users can choose from provided modules to create a script for their server setup.
5. Education and Courses: Completed various courses and certifications, including Spring in Action, Head First Java, Building a JS Development Environment, and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate). Additionally, gained knowledge in MongoDB, Node.js, Unix Workbench, and design prototyping.
