Manual Tester

Manual tester with three years of experience. He is currently working at Volkswagen where he is responsible for internal application testing. He performs manual tests of functionalities i.e. regression tests. He uses Jira and HP ALM, he also has the basics of SQL. His German is at a communicative level and it is his preferred language in which he would like to continue to communicate. English is at B1-B2 level with the understanding of everything, however he has no practice and does not communicate in it on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• thoroughly analyzing incoming requests to gain a comprehensive understanding of the software testing requirements
• developing comprehensive and meticulously detailed test case documents that outline the testing scenarios, inputs, expected outputs, and various test conditions
• carrying out manual testing procedures meticulously based on the defined test case documents
• identifying and documenting software defects, glitches, and anomalies discovered during the testing process
• developing and maintaining a repository of comprehensive test documentation, which includes test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
• collaborating with the Test Manager and remote Test Team based in Germany to exchange critical information, share testing progress, discuss challenges, and ensure alignment in testing strategies
• actively participating in meetings with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders
• Tests types executed : Regression tests, Functional tests
• Type of tested SW: Automotive Applications:Parts inventory application, supply chain application
• Tools used: HP ALM , Jira (tests Runs and Traceability reports)

• ITQB - Foundation Level Tools: HP ALM , Jira Regression tests, Functional tests.
