Java Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer who has been in the IT field for more than 20 years. He started out developing internet banking for Union Bank. He is currently working for IBM in the field of learning management. It's a big project to manage knowledge and learning of all employees in IBM. It has over 3 million users. In his work he mainly uses SpringBoot, JaxRS, Node.js, but also Devops docker and Kubernetes. However, he has also done identity management on a project to verify identities. He has experience with agile methodologies like Scrum. He would need to be interviewed in English at the moment as he doesn't communicate much in it, but uses it in writing on a daily basis.

Availability.

September 2018 - Present: Contractor, working on a complete Learning Management System for IBM. Developing and supporting SpringBoot based applications in a microservices architecture using Docker containers managed by Kubernetes. System is multi-tenant and serves approximately 1M users.

2016 - Present: Senior Java Developer, working on a complex CAAS solution for a major Czech bank. Configuring IBM WebSphere AS ND 8.5 with HA and developing JEE applications based on OpenAM.

December 2016 - Present: Senior Java Developer and IDM Engineer, specializing in the open-source IDM system Midpoint. Working on several IDM projects customizing advanced features and developing custom connectors.

February 2015 - November 2016: Contractor, developing a sales quota/target management application for IBM Sales and distribution team. Utilizing IBM Customer information and sales data for statistical analysis. Working in an agile SCRUM methodology.

February 2009 - November 2014: Contractor, working on IBM's HRLST (Talent@IBM) Project. Responsible for integration applications and feeds development, customization, and production support for a large scale LMS application based on Saba Learning Management System.
