Linux Administrator

The candidate has been working with Linux for 7 years. He is currently one of two senior administrators on L2 support - but it's more of a cross between L2 and L3. His main job is to manage the whole infrastructure, running Linux web servers, while he also works with MySQL servers and sometimes he also handles the hardware. Apart from that, he also does Docker, Bash scripting, and he can do a bit of Python as well. He hasn't worked with Salt Stack yet, but he has experience with Zabbix. He enjoys doing automation and would like to do architectural system stuff in the future. From a team perspective, he has worked in both larger and smaller agile teams, as he has worked in both corporates and startups. He is currently part of a 6-person team where he actively communicates across departments. He is also involved in training new colleagues and holds the position of unofficial team leader. He is not actively looking for a job at the moment, but he is interested in the position as he would fall into his ruts and expects that after some time he would have the opportunity to talk about how to modernize things in addition to web hosting clusters. He speaks English daily and privately - at a level between B2 and C1.

October 2018 - Present: Linux System Administrator. Responsible for managing the complete infrastructure of Linux servers, including data center management.

January 2016 - September 2018: Technical Specialist. Worked in a unit focused on e-Invoicing and system integrations. Main responsibilities included application maintenance and support, with expertise in aXway products and HP-UX/Unix systems.

September 2016 - January 2018: Technical Specialist. Managed server maintenance, deployments, and provided support for developers.

July 2015 - August 2016: System Administrator and Security Analyst. Responsible for deploying and securing Linux and Windows servers for company projects, as well as providing support to developers.

2014 - 2015: Network and Security Consultant. Managed the functionality of the company network, collaborated with external firms for network management, and provided security consultations for colleagues on various projects.
