Java Developer

Intermediate Java developer with 2.5 years of experience. On the current project he is working mainly with Java, Spring Boot, SQL technologies. He is doing transformation on financial databases where they are downloading, resolving and then pushing the data on. On a previous project, he also programmed in Vue.js, which he also used on his own project at home. So he wouldn't mind working as a fullstack developer, but he's also interested in Kotlin, which he hasn't had a chance to work with yet. They use agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban in their work. Since he works in a company where English is the main language of communication, communicating in English is not a problem for him. Recently, he had the opportunity to participate in the training of a new developer in the team. In the future, he does not rule out holding the position of team leader.

06/2021 Application developer: Development of a Spring-boot application, including testing, designing and implementing new features, and setting up DevOps.

02/2020 – 05/2021 Fullstack developer: Development of an internal web application with Vue.js frontend and Spring-boot backend, including new feature implementation, migration to the cloud, microservices, and creating a CI/CD pipeline.

07/2018 – 07/2019 Junior java developer: Migration and creation of new sample applications for demonstrating possible use cases for clients, as well as creating tests and maintaining the repository.

September 2016 - June 2019 Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica.

September 2019 - June 2021 Master's degree: Master's degree in Information Management from the University of Economics in Bratislava.
