The candidate has been doing object-oriented programming in PHP for almost 3 years. He started with Laravel, which he likes the most, and worked with it for 1 and a half years. Then he switched to Symfony, where he has 2 years of experience. He hasn't written automated tests so far, but besides the backend he is also working on the frontend, which he has worked with in the past and on his last project. He mainly uses CSS and JavaScript there, while he also has 1 and a half years of experience with Vue.js. Backend always makes up at least 70% of his work, but he says he is also good at frontend. He likes to learn new things and although he would like to stay on the backend in the future he would not be reluctant to add DevOps to his current focus. He is more used to working in smaller agile teams of up to 10 people and has no problem with communication. In addition, he has also done code reviews and mentored more junior colleagues in the past, teaching one to code from the very beginning. He is no longer currently working at Grownapps. He has taken the last 2 months off work, which has given him additional motivation. In his new job he is enjoying the fresh air and the opportunity to learn about other things. He really likes the position at WebSupport. Personality-wise, Mark is very pleasant and likeable with the right enthusiasm for his work. English language is not a problem for him.
