AWS Architect & AWS Engineer & DevOps Engineer

The candidate is an experienced DevOps engineer and AWS Engineer. He has been working extensively with Cloud and AWS for the last 5 years. However, he first encountered it about 8 years ago. He is currently part of a team that is responsible for rewriting microservices and then deploying them to AWS. He is preparing the ecosystem to make everything as easy as possible for developers. Before DevOps he was a Linux administrator, but as he said it's the same thing. He has experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD Kafka. He has experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. Since he works for an American company where English is the main language of communication, he has no problem communicating there. He also has experience in managing a team of 16 members.

09/2020 - current: Senior DevOPS engineer - Responsible for infrastructure, applications, and services integration. Utilized AWS, Terraform, Helm, Github, and Jenkins in a microservices architecture. Built infrastructure and CI/CD from scratch and integrated Kafka ecosystem.

12/2018 - 6/2020: IT Operations Manager - Led a team of Linux administrators, database specialists, and office support engineers. Managed production and development infrastructure within AWS native public cloud, implemented CI/CD integration and automation, and maintained network infrastructure. Successfully launched a mortgage platform in the Netherlands and collaborated on ISMS/ISO27001 and Service Management.

5/2015 - 11/2018: IT Operations Manager - Managed a team of Linux administrators, optimized team capacity, and maintained production infrastructure with over 1000 servers. Ensured 24/7 operation and adherence to OLA/SLA. Reduced infrastructure costs by 29% and implemented DevOps teams and AWS projects.
