JANUARY 2021:

Developed Android application (in Google Play Store) using Kotlin and Android Studio, utilizing Gitlab CI/CD pipeline, Auth0, Hilt, LiveData, ViewModel, Databinding, Navigation, Paging, and Retrofit. Wrote unit and instrumented tests with JUnit and Espresso.

DECEMBER 2018 - DECEMBER 2020:

Developed Android application (in Google Play Store) using Kotlin and Android Studio, implementing OCR and Regex for receipt data extraction. Utilized LiveData, ViewModel, Databinding, Room Persistence Library, Firebase MLKit, MPAndroidChart, Retrofit, and ZXing.

APRIL 2013 - SEPTEMBER 2016:

Worked as a Researcher / Software Engineer, participating in the development of the Turkish to English translation part of the IWSLT '13 system. Developed Java-based software for machine translation and natural language processing, including speaking language normalization and unit tests.

Worked as an Android Developer, designing and developing an Android application for HR and performance evaluation system. Used Java and Eclipse, connected the application to the company network, and utilized SOAP for data exchange.

FEBRUARY 2012 - OCTOBER 2012:

Worked as an Android Developer, designing and developing an Android application for a national newspaper with over 1.5 million users. Used Java and Eclipse, implemented XML DOM parser for data parsing, and designed a multithreaded architecture for smooth GUIs and lazy loading mechanism for reduced data usage.
