UX UI Designer

The candidate is an experienced UX/UI designer with more than 5 years of experience. He has been also working as UX/UI Team Lead in his current company, although he got back to senior UX/UI role, as he wanted to be in day-to-day contact with the technical part. He used to work with Figma most of the time, but he also did some projects with Sketch on Mac and he used Adobe tools before Figma. He has done also usability testing and some psychological stage of UI. He understands frontend well and he used various methods of user-centered design. He is looking for a new position since he wants a more challenging environment and better management and he would like to work for a product-based company, as he currently works in an agency. He has no problem with speaking in English. As he is located in Pula, he would like to have as much remote work as possible, although he can visit the office occasionally. He is also open to a Leading position in a small team of 4-5 designers. In his current position, he has a notice period of 1 month.

Jan 2022 - Present: Senior UX/UI Designer
Worked on projects for corporations, focusing on interaction design, information architecture, and UI design. Involved in the discovery phase, client workshops, and similar activities.

Jul 2019 - Jan 2022: UX/UI Team Lead
Organized and established a UX team within the company, aiming to transition the existing design process into a UCD process. Responsible for team development, process creation, and client onboarding.

Jul 2017 - Jul 2019: UX/UI Designer
Worked on initial UX projects at CMG, primarily in the areas of information architecture, wireframing, and UI design. Completed several end-to-end applications, including a mobile app and a dashboard application, as well as web-related projects.

Oct 2016 - Jul 2017: Production Manager
Focused on project delivery and quality, with a primary emphasis on design and UX. Managed projects involving multiple teams across different time zones.

Sep 2015 - Oct 2016: Junior Web Designer
First work position in the design and IT field after college, gaining experience in WordPress site building, standard web graphics, and digital asset preparation for social media.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Polytechnic of Rijeka (2009-2013). Completed technical school in Pula as a mechanical technician (2005-2009).
