Data Analyst & Data Engineer

The candidate has been working as a DWH/BI developer for the last 3 years. He had the task to convert a data warehouse into something new, deploy a new implementation, use upload tools or test. He has experience with SQL, ETL processes, Power BI and knows the basics of Python. Previously worked as an IT manager, leading a team of 1-5 people. He is used to agile environments, specifically Scrum. His English is at a good level.

BI/DWH Developer (Aug 2019 - Present): Developed ETL/ELT data integration pipelines and orchestration jobs for regular data loads. Transformed high-level business requirements into BI dashboards and reports. Provided support to end users in data queries and assisted in building Power BI reports. Conducted troubleshooting on BI models.

IT Manager (Oct 2013 - July 2017): Coordinated IT activities between multiple support groups and operations. Led and supported all operations of the hotel and technology requirements. Managed the pre-opening and opening of a new hotel, including the replacement of the entire infrastructure.

IT L2 Application Specialist (Nov 2017 - July 2019): Coordinated IT application operation activities between support groups and business departments. Administrated and monitored various systems such as SSRS and PowerBI reports, Azure Cloud services, ESB, and application servers.

Education History: BSc in Applied Informatics from Slovak University of Technology, Faculty of Material Science and Technology (Sep 2006 - Jul 2009). MSc in Integrated Systems in Buildings from Tomas Bata University, Faculty of Applied Informatics (Sep 2010 - Oct 2012).
