Java Developer

Dino is a Java developer with around 2 years of experience. He is currently working on ehealth solutions, using mostly Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, PostgreSql, ElasticSearch and Docker. During the studies he had also experience with C++ in embedded and later with Python. He is fluent in English and Croatian. He is working with agile methodologies , mostly Scrum as they are having 3 weeks sprints. He is also recruiting new interns for his team. However, he has not been leading or teaching any members.

December, 2020 - Present: Java Software developer, working on national and foreign ehealth solutions using FHIR HL7 standard. Utilizing Java, Spring, PostgreSql, ElasticSearch, Infinispan, Docker, and GIT.

July, 2018 – December, 2020: Software developer, working on BNEW DNEW, Traffic Control, and 4G5G projects as part of the XFT team. Involved in Multi Component Testing using Erlang programming language. Also responsible for recruiting new interns.

July, 2017 – July, 2018: Student helper in the Mobile Switching Center (MSC) department, specifically in the Market Development and Maintenance team. Completed courses in PLEX and ASA.

February, 2018 – May, 2018: Took an extra student job in the evenings at a local warehouse.

Education: Holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (2018), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution (2016).

Skills, activities, and projects: Proficient in Java, Spring, and has experience with C, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, SolidWorks, VHDL. Worked on projects involving designing a Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) model, an embedded system for Temperature-Controlled Switch, and Image Capturing Using Video Direct Memory Access. Has basic knowledge of German and holds a driving license. Also has a background in music (member of a rewarded academic men's choir) and sports (former member of a university rowing team, karate black belt).
