Java Developer

The candidate is a Java developer with 8 years of experience. He is currently working on a big and quite old monolithic desktop app using Oracle ADF. The app is working as a ERP office back storage. He has been also developing in Spring Boot and Hibernate on some smaller projects. He has around 2 years of experience in both. He is familiar with agile methodologies but have not used them much during working on projects. He is fluent in English and Croatian, that is his mother tongue. Previously, he has a chance to teach couple of junior colleagues.

March 2019 - Present: Owner and Java Developer. Currently working on a web application for quick menu overview using technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring ecosystem, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. Also responsible for developing modules for an ERP application using Java 6, Oracle ADF, BC4J, Jasper reports, and Oracle DB. Additionally, involved in a Cadastre scraper project using Java 8, Maven, Selenium, and Apache POI.

June 2015 - March 2019: Java Developer. Involved in the maintenance and development of financial software, including a desktop application using Java Web Start, and technologies such as Oracle ADF, BC4J, Jasper reports, and Oracle DB. Also contributed to the development of a parking application using microservices and technologies like Dropwizard, Jetty, Guice, Jersey, Hibernate, and Jackson.

October 2014 - June 2015: Javascript developer and QA Engineer. Worked as a functional tester on a telecommunications PaaS software while outsourced to i-NEW Communicative Solutions GmbH, Austria. Also involved in hybrid mobile development using Apache Cordova and JQuery Mobile, and modification of Javascript libraries for mobile browsers.

September 2012 - July 2014: Master of Science in Telecommunications and Informatics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Zagreb.

September 2009 - July 2012: Bachelor of Science in Computing from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Zagreb.
