Java Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer who is currently working on upgrading an application that was written in .Net 3.5, VBS and SQL and rewriting it in Spring Boot including new CI/CD pipelines. From his past he has built an interesting stack including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SQL (MSSQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL), Hibernate, Messaging (RabbitMQ, IBM MQ), REST, Maven, Gradle, GIT, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, CI/CD(Jenkins, TeamCity). Prefers longer term collaboration on projects. He has mostly worked in teams, both large and small, and has even had the opportunity to mentor younger colleagues, even mentoring colleagues who joined his team right out of school. However, he said he would not like to become a team leader at the moment. He prefers to work remotely and has no problem with agile methods. He is proficient in English and has communicated in English on a daily basis in the past, as he has also worked in international teams.

• Java Developer | September 2021 - present: Responsible for development and maintenance of Java backend systems and frontend UI5 JavaScript framework. Developed SAP Risk Management tool using Spring, OData, REST, Event Mesh, HANA database, PostgreSQL, and SAP UI5.
• Software Developer | September 2019 - August 2021: Designed and rewrote legacy application to Spring Boot on-premises service. Built CI/CD pipeline in TeamCity. Worked with Java, Spring, MSSQL, IBM MQ, and REST.
• Java Developer | August 2018 - August 2019: Provided technical support to the team and customers. Promoted key suppliers and acquired new customers.
• Branch Product Manager | September 2016 - July 2018: Developed software for financial institutes using Java, Spring, RabbitMQ, REST, and Redis. Started as a developer in the testing team and later became a Java Developer in the Scoring team.
