BI Analyst & DWH Developer

He is a Software Engineer interested in DWH/BI Developer positions. In the past, he was working for the Austrian Institute of Economy, where he built the ETL processes in Python with financial data from all around the world. He is located in Zagreb and he is used to working remotely. He is able to communicate in English and is open to working on both long-term and short-term projects, although prefers the long-term. He has a small company, so B2B is a strongly preferred option for him. He is currently doing some maintenance projects, although he is able to start a new position almost immediately. He showed an extraordinary level of interest in DWH/BI. However, he is aware that he is not an expert in DWH, so he is ready to work for a lower rate until he will develop and prove himself over time.

Software Engineer (Since 2021 Current) - Responsible for developing an event and venue management app using Rails. Designed and implemented features, as well as integrated ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ. Integrated delivery company API for package tracking and created REST APIs for clients. Also involved in database design.

Software Engineer (2017 - 2021) - Worked on rewriting a legacy ERP project to Symfony. Designed and implemented features and integrated ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ. Integrated delivery company API for package tracking and created REST APIs for clients. Also involved in database design.

Software Developer (2014 - 2017) - Implemented ETL processes for the Data Warehouse of the Austrian Institute of Economy. Designed databases and developed ERP/CRM systems using Django. Also worked on webshops, an app for tax return calculations on Austria/Switzerland imports, and banking tools for credit calculations.

Technical Support (2011 - 2014) - Responsible for IT equipment repair and replacement, as well as software installations.
