Java Developer

The candidate is a Java developer with 5 years of experience. He is also trying to learn Spring and Spring Boot. He is open to learn new technologies. In Ericcson they are using their own framework, that is like Spring. He has also experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Rest API, JCat TestNG. He is part of the team creating testing app for testing their own product. It takes things from Junit and modifies them to fit their needs. He has an experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. He is teaching junior colleagues and leading a team in case of his colleague’s absence. The team is currently having 6 members, but previously the team had 17 members. He is fluent in English and Croatian.

Jul 2017 - Nov 2018 Student Helper: Worked full-time as a student helper, contributing to the release system test automation on a product. Attended meetings in English to discuss continuous integration and troubleshoot issues.

Nov 2018 - Oct 2020 System Integration and Verification Engineer: Part of the System Test automation team for a product, responsible for automating test cases in Java using the framework called TAF. Troubleshooting and fixing automated cases on a daily basis, and developing health checks for the product. Created presentations and coding challenges for newcomers.

Oct 2020 - Current Software Developer: Joined the Test Framework team, working on feature and system level testing. Developing methods for connecting and manipulating equipment, creating REST API calls and CLI commands, and working with Postgres DB. Became team leader in December 2021, responsible for communication with other teams, planning assignments, and setting task priorities.

2012 - 2018 Magister of Science: Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture in Split.
