Java Developer

The candidate is a Fullstack Developer, who enjoys Java in particular and wants to work with Java in the future. He has over 1,5 years of commercial experience with it and works with it every day. On his current project as a Fullstack Developer, the project is focused on selling health insurance to American clients. There he uses Java, Springboot on the backend, Typescript, React on the frontend, Python for data processing and various features in AWS. Other technologies he has mastered include Javascript, SQL, UNIX, Linux, Docker, Jenkins. He speaks English at B2/C1 level, so he will have no problem communicating in English. He is used to using agile methodologies.

MAY 2021 - Currently Software Engineer: Working with the whole ecosystem in software development, including full-stack development, containerization, testing, and scripting. Responsible for driving tickets, releasing software, and maintaining pipelines.

MAY 2018 - OCT 2019 AVPN DTAC: Configuring and troubleshooting network nodes on the customer's edge using Edgewater, Cisco, and Juniper devices. Maintaining switches, routers, and access points. Working with L3VPN MPLS cloud and using Linux shell on a daily basis.

JAN 2016 - JAN 2017 part-time: Installation and maintenance of hardware on customer's premises.

JULY 2015 - AUG 2015 part-time: Assisting in the kitchen and maintaining cleanliness and order in a mountain hotel.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice. Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university.

Course or certificate: Completed an instructor-led CCNA 1-4 course from Cisco Systems, Inc. Also completed an instructor-led CCNP Routing, Switching, and T-Shoot course. (Cisco Systems, Inc.)

Languages: Upper intermediate level in English (B2) and elementary level in German (A2).
