Java Developer

The candidate is a young Java developer with a focus on backend and 4 years of commercial experience. On his latest project he is working on a remote position with another colleague, mostly using Docker, GitLab CI, AWS ECR, ECS, EC2, Fargate, VPC, CloudWatch and RDS. He first encountered AWS on this project and learned it quite quickly. He enjoys learning new things and taking on challenges. In the future, he would like to move to a team of more experienced colleagues from whom he can learn more and develop his current knowledge and skills. He has experience with agile methodologies, specifically scrum and kanban. His language skills include advanced English.

02/2018 - ongoing: Java backend developer - responsible for designing, developing, and evolving software. Improved problem-solving skills and assisted in specification of requirements. Collaborated with other developers and resolved production issues.

07/2015 - 09/2017: Java developer - worked on monitoring system for mobile operator products. Created automatic system and GUI tests using Java and Selenium. Also performed data mining using Python.

04/2013 - 04/2013: Internship in computer diagnostics and repair - diagnosed and repaired computers.

2016 - 2019: Master's degree in Information Systems from Brno University of Technology.

09/2017 - 01/2018: Erasmus program at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete.

2013 - 2016: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology.

2009 - 2013: Electrotechnician diploma from High School S.A. Jedlik.

Skills include backend development using technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Swagger. Proficient in Java, Kotlin, Python, and SQL.
