Python Developer

The candidate is a self-taught developer who has been learning to program in Python for more than 2 years on his own small projects, last year he also took on a commercial project where he was on and off for almost a year. His main tasks included - modifying and maintaining the application in Django, extending it with new features and APIs, adding new data models and business logic. He also did ETL logic rewriting and development in SQL and PL/SQL as per the analytics documentation. He actively uses agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum and Kanban. His communication in English is limited to writing and reading, he would have to get into communication over time as he has not used it for a long time. He likes to participate in long term projects but has no problem tackling short term ones.

2017 - 2018: Distribution

• Communication with distributors, creating costs and calculating remittances, processing and entering statistical data into internal system, sales report for daily press, sales analysis, database management, administrative tasks.

2018 May - Present: Experienced Solution Developer (DWH)

• Development on DWH - rewriting ETL logic from informatics workflow to internal framework, creating metadata and setting up database scheduler using PL/SQL procedures, modifying export views, participating in end-to-end testing, development of new functionalities in SQL based on analytical documentation.

• Development of an industrial application on Django REST platform, development and testing of new models and API services, refactoring and maintenance of existing code, preparation of PostgreSQL database layer.

2021 March - 2022 March: Web Design and Development (Web)

• Designing and creating a website for indexing self-employed activities, multilingual translation of pages and translation editing console, backend development on Django platform, authentication and authorization, CRUD operations, data extraction pipeline from external sources, data processing algorithm modeling and optimization for approximately 1 million requests using REST API and web scraping, data import into database, user and administrator components.
