DevOps Engineer

The candidate is an experienced Devops engineer who has been in commercial practice for over 9 years. Before that he was a Java developer for 6 and a half years, so he has a great developer background. As a DevOps engineer he has mainly dealt with on premise private Clouds, led the migration of these Clouds to Public Clouds, where he migrated the environment to a manageable Kubernetes + classic Devops tasks. He has worked on projects that were related to Telecom and Public sector. In Telecom, he created the infrastructure for the mobile network to deploy seamlessly. Some of his most used technologies include - IBM Cloud, , OpenShift, Kubernetes, Container Technologies (Docker/Podman), Ansible, CD/CI Pipelines, Linux (RHEL 7/8, Ubuntu), Git, Shell Scripting (Bash), Java. Communication in English, but also in German is easy. He actively uses agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum and Kanban.

Senior Application Developer (Dec 2017 - present): Responsible for technical architecture and small team technical coordination. Worked on projects in the public sector and telecommunications industry, utilizing technologies such as IBM Cloud, OpenShift, Kubernetes, container technologies, Ansible, CD/CI pipelines, Linux, Git, shell scripting, Python, Java, Gradle, and Maven. Worked for a large international IT company.

IT Specialist (Sep 2013 - Nov 2017): Worked as an application developer and DevOps engineer in the public sector. Utilized technologies such as Java, J2EE, JUnit, Swing, web services, Oracle DB, XML, and Linux. Worked for a large international IT company.

Programmer (Mar 2007 - Aug 2013): Java developer specializing in AML software development for banks and financial institutions. Utilized technologies such as Java, J2EE, JUnit, Spring, Oracle DB, and XML. Worked for a large international IT company.

Tester/Programmer (Mar 2006 - Feb 2007): Worked as a tester and junior Java developer on an information system project for a Slovak health insurance company. Utilized technologies such as Java, JUnit, and XML. Worked for a large international IT company.
