DevOps Engineer & PHP Developer

The candidate is a developer who has more than 10 years of commercial experience in PHP programming - he specializes mainly in Symfony framework, but he is also proficient in other frameworks. On recent projects he has created internal systems, payment applications and platforms for small and medium sized e-shops. He actively uses agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum. He can communicate in English without any problems, in German he can read technical documentation and email communication. In the past, he worked as a Team Leader, leading smaller teams of programmers. He is a full-stack programmer with strong business/UX acumen - always thinking about how the application will be used by the client.

July 2016 - Present: IT Manager. Responsible for architecture, management, and development of internal system for managing student applications and progress. Technologies used include Symfony, MySQL, and JavaScript.

2009 - Present: Freelancer. Developed in-house e-commerce platform using Symfony, PHP, and various other technologies. Also experienced in SEO, DevOps, and cloud platforms like AWS and DigitalOcean.

June 2011 - April 2013: Co-founder. Responsible for technology strategy, internal systems, and communication.

April 2012: Participant at Startup Weekend Prague 2012. Achieved second place with project "Sunset Hill," a virtual graveyard for pets.
