Java Developer

The candidate is a Java developer who has been programming in this technology for about 5 years. He works with Spring, Hibernate and Maven frameworks. In his last position he also got into frontend development, specifically in Angular 1.x, but he doesn't think it would be a problem for him to get into higher versions of Angular. He also has experience in analytics, having spent some time as an application analyst. In addition to backend development in Java, he is also open to full stack positions in the Java+Angular combination. He has no preference in terms of project length, he is open to short and long term projects equally. He has experience with agile methodologies, working specifically in Scrum. He is not currently interested in people management, would like to be 100% dedicated to development at the moment, would be open to team leading opportunities at some point in the future. Among foreign languages, he knows English at a communicative level, he understands almost everything in German as well, but he hasn't had a chance to speak it in a while, so he would need time to brush up on it. Anyway, he dares to communicate in both languages. He doesn't have an explicitly preferred sector of work, he is most interested in startups, least in the financial and banking sector, but he is aware that most Java projects are for this sphere, so he doesn't completely rule it out.

Java Software Engineer (3/2018 - now)

• Developed a gift vouchers application, designing and documenting endpoints using Eclipse Jersey as a REST framework. Utilized EclipseLink and PostgreSQL for data storage, with gift vouchers stored as pictures in a content delivery network (CDN). Implemented Grafana for process monitoring and worked closely with the front-end team.
• Developed a web application for customer service using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, EJB 3.0, JPA, EclipseLink, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Worked on a backend web application for reservation management, utilizing EJB 3.0, JPA, EclipseLink, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Grafana, New Relic, and RabbitMQ.
• Contributed to a discounts project using Spring Framework, Lombok, Swagger, Flyway, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, JUnit, and H2.

• Worked on a project for the Ministry of Environment at Essential Data, focusing on implementation analysis.

• Developed an ERP system at HT Solution, using Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software, DB2, SVN, and EJB.
